About the West Indian Women Network:

The West Indian Women Network was founded by Mrs. Priscilla Ramcharan in November 2019, the organisation did not fully launch until April 2020 with the intention of being a global community of women helping women to grow their businesses and support each other in the Caribben region though it was initially based in Pennsylvania, USA. Between April 2020 to June 2022 the West Indian Women Network saw many ups and downs. The history of the WIWN is logged hereUntil June 2022, when it was finally decided the organisation would be relaunched. After some time the organisation was ready. Finally, it was decided that August 2022 WIWN would relaunch with a more defined mission in mind based out of Pennsylvania, USA and Trinidad and Tobago. To be a network of women for women. By bringing to light the stories of women that would otherwise be left unheard, to educate young girls about the expectations as a woman in the working world and bring awareness to the struggles of women locally and regionally.

Vision

To inspire young girls to become the embodiment of women's empowerment by providing the necessary resources.

Mission

WIWN is designed to create a network of Caribbean women around the Globe. We intend to become a network of women who work together to provide a safe future for young ladies and support each other. Our goals are:
To help women share their businesses and collaborate in achieving our initiatives.
To promote self-empowerment.
To spread awareness of women's stories.
To educate young women about independence and allowing them to be confident through their journeys.
To create opportunities for young women.
